The clinic increases access to care and treatments such as:
- Breast cancer screening;
- Cervical cancer screening;
- Sexually transmitted infection screening;
- Contraception;
- Prevention and treatment of osteoporosis;
- Care related to menopause.
Women may access the clinic without a referral from a health care professional.
The clinic is managed by two nurse practitioners whose role is to promote and assess health, make diagnoses, and manage chronic health problems. They also serve the Diabetes Clinic.
Hours of operation: Thursday and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
