Visits temporarily suspended at Chaleur Regional Hospital
Bathurst, June 7, 2016 – Vitalité Health Network informs the public that visits are suspended at the 2 East Unit (Residential Care), the 4 East Unit (medicine) and 4 West Unit (Long-Term Care) of the Chaleur regional Hospital in Bathurst. This situation is due to the presence of scabies among a number of patients and staff. The suspension will remain in effect until further notice.
In order to ensure a complete and efficient cleanup of the affected units, Vitalité Health Network insists on the importance of respecting the suspension of visits.
